MTA Arts & Design ArtCard for the 2020 season, Park Line version. These are my artists proofs that were given to me and are signed and numbered 1-100 by mE in pencil. 44" wide by 8" tall, 1/2 inch white border on all sides. Check my website for more images and closeups https://jasonraish.com/mta-art-card-2020 It is an incredible honor to be chosen to illustrate an art card for the MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority) and on every illustrators bucket list. They only chose 3 artists a year who’s work will be on display on various subway lines around NYC for the entire year. They also liked my park car idea which is based on two parks I love, Brooklyn Bridge Park and Central Park. I imagined how you could be in NYC's canyons of steel and in a short amount of time be transported to a lush green landscape with people living their best lives.
